The Renfroe Model JPA-02.00-A Plate Clamp is a 2 ton capacity vertical lifting clamp. Designed for handling steel plates and other flat materials. Manufactured by J.C. Renfroe & Sons, Inc., this specific model has a capacity of 2 tons (4,000 lbs) and is engineered to lift and rotate a single plate or member from a horizontal to a vertical position—or vice versa—through a 180-degree arc. It’s commonly used in industrial settings like construction, manufacturing, and steel fabrication where precise and safe material handling is required. Incorporates a push button auxiliary lock. Permits side loading of lifting shackle to 90° by de-rating of clamp’s rated capacity.
