The Renfroe Model L-01.00-A Plate Clamp is a vertical lifting clamp. Designed for lifting and turning steel plates or structural members from horizontal to vertical and back through a 90-degree arc, suited for light-duty tasks in industries like metal fabrication, construction, and shipbuilding. With a 1-ton (1.00 tons) capacity. It is a lighter more ergonomic version of the Model J.
Its primary uses include:
- Lifting Moderate Steel Plates: It securely grips a single plate or member by its edge, enabling a 90-degree rotation with a crane or hoist, ideal for loads up to 1 ton.
- Effortless and Safe Attachment: It features a The “Lock Open – Lock Closed” feature facilitates attaching and removing the clamp from the plate.
- Efficient Medium-Scale Lifting: Its lightweight yet sturdy construction makes it perfect for smaller lifts where higher-capacity L or J models (up to 6 tons) aren’t needed.
- Stable Positioning: Ensures plates transition smoothly to a vertical orientation and back. It supports precise placement in compact workspaces.
