The genuine Crosby G-2130 1-1/8″ Bolt Type Anchor Shackle (Stock #1019579) is engineered for permanent, long-term, or high-vibration overhead lifting and rigging installations where a load may slide on the shackle pin and cause a standard screw pin to rotate. Featuring a forged, quenched, and tempered carbon steel bow paired with an alloy steel Red Pin® thin hex head bolt, hex nut, and secondary cotter pin retention, the G-2130 delivers a certified 9.5 Ton (19,000 lb) Working Load Limit with a 6:1 design factor. Every shackle bow incorporates Crosby’s forged QUIC-CHECK® 45° angle indicators and throat deformation markers for fast visual inspection in the field.

Inspection & Safety

Field Application & Securement Guidelines: Bolt-type (safety) anchor shackles (G-2130) use a positive three-piece pin assembly—alloy thin hex head bolt (1-1/4″ (1.25″) diameter), threaded hex nut, and split cotter pin—to prevent the pin from backing out under dynamic vibration, rotation, or sliding line contact. Its generous 2.91″ inside bow width (Dimension E) and 4.25″ inside length (Dimension C) accept multi-leg chain slings, wire rope slings, and synthetic round slings, as well as side-loaded connections (rated 100% WLL in-line at 0°–5°, 70% WLL from 6° to 45°, and 50% WLL from 46° to 90°). Never operate a G-2130 shackle without both the hex nut fully seated and the cotter pin properly spread.
