Choosing this sling

Choose a twisted eye & eye sling when you will mostly rig it in a choker hitch; it also works in vertical and basket hitches. The eyes are turned at a right angle to the sling body, so they sit more snugly on crane hooks and come together compactly in a basket hitch. Nylon is lightweight, flexible and relatively soft, so it suits lifts where protecting the load’s surface finish is important. Typical uses are rigging, general-purpose overhead lifting, crane hoisting and material handling. Inspect before each lift. Do not rig below 30°.
