Choosing this sling

Choose a flat eye & eye sling for general lifting in vertical, choker and basket hitches. Flat eyes lie in the same plane as the sling body, and the flat cross section makes the sling easy to pull from beneath the load once it is set down. Nylon is lightweight, flexible and relatively soft, so it suits lifts where protecting the load’s surface finish is important. Typical uses are rigging, general-purpose overhead lifting, crane hoisting and material handling. Inspect before each lift. Do not rig below 30°.
