A single leg works in vertical, choker and basket hitches; the ratings for each hitch are listed above. Adjusters shorten each leg independently to level a load whose center of gravity is off-center or whose pick points are uneven. Foundry hooks have a wide, open throat with no latch, made for large lifting eyes and quick hook-up and release.
