Choosing this sling

Choose a 2 leg sling when the load has two pick points: it keeps long or awkward loads level and under control. Foundry hooks have a wide, open throat with no latch, made for large lifting eyes and quick hook-up and release. WLL depends on the sling angle, measured from horizontal: flatter legs carry more tension, so capacity drops from 61,100 lbs at 60° to 35,300 lbs at 30°. Do not rig below 30°.
