Choosing this sling

As an endless sling it can be rigged in vertical, choker and basket hitches; the rating for each hitch is listed above. The two jackets protect the load-bearing yarn from oil, grime and other contaminants. Polyester round slings have a low stretch value and are lighter than wire rope and chain. Low moisture absorption makes them resistant to rot and mildew, so they suit marine work and ship hauling. Because they are soft, they hug the load surface. They are not recommended for use with ethers or alkalis. Inspect before each lift. Do not rig below 30°.
