Endless Nylon flat slings are continuous loop slings. They are formed by joining the ends of the webbing together with a load bearing splice. Also called endless flat slings, endless loop slings and type 5 lifting slings. These are some of the most versatile slings because they can be used with a vertical hitch, choker hitch or basket hitch. Nylon Slings are lightweight, flexible, and relatively soft. They are suitable in applications were minimal damage to the load’s surface finish is important. Endless Nylon Slings are also economical because the design allows the user to move the contact area with each use which decreases wear and tear on the sling. Nylon slings stretch a little more than polyester which minimizes the shock to the load and they are a better choice when greasy conditions exist.
