7/8″ X 12′ Wire Rope Sling w/One Standard Eye & One Thimble Eye
7/8″ IWRC EIPS Wire Rope Choker X 12 Feet w/One Standard Flemish Eye & One Heavy-Duty Thimble Eye
The 7/8″ x 12′ single leg wire rope sling with one standard Flemish eye and one heavy-duty thimbled eye combines the best of both terminations. The thimbled eye (2.25″ inside width × 4.25″ inside length) protects the bearing point on the crane hook or shackle from wear and deformation, while the standard Flemish soft eye (7.00″ inside width × 14.00″ inside length) easily reeves through or around the load for fast, secure choker and basket hitches. Manufactured from 7/8″ 6×19 IWRC EIPS wire rope with mechanical Flemish eye splicing for maximum strength and durability in demanding construction, industrial, and rigging applications.

Working Load Limit and Safety
The Design Factor for wire rope slings is a 5:1 ratio, meaning the breaking strength of the sling is five times higher than the rated Working Load Limit (W.L.L). Per the Wire Rope Users Manual, a design factor is necessary to allow for conditions such as wear, abrasion, damage, and variations in loads which are not readily apparent. Although wire rope slings have a design factor, the user should never exceed the rated Working Load Limit.
All of our single leg eye and eye slings include an attached metal tag displaying capacity.
