Choosing this sling

Choose a 3 leg sling for loads with three pick points, such as round tanks or irregular castings. Thimbles protect each eye from wear and crushing. WLL depends on the sling angle, measured from horizontal: flatter legs carry more tension, so capacity drops from 3.7 tons at 60° to 2.2 tons at 30°. Do not rig below 30°. The WLL stamped on a hook rates the hook alone; the bridle is rated as listed above.
